Description:
Symptomatic treatment for gastro-oesophageal reflux such as acid regurgitation, heartburn and indigestion, and for symptoms of excessive stomach acid (hyperacidity).

Dosage:
Adults and children aged 12 years and above. 1-2 sachets after meals and before bedtime.

•    Sodium Alginate 500Mg
•    Calcium Carbonate 325Mg
•    Sodium Bicarbonate Methyl 213Mg
•    Parahydroxybenzoate (Perservative) 28Mg
•    Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate (Preservative) 4Mg

How To Store:
Store at a temperature below 30°C. Keep away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Side Effects:
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Patients who are allergic to the ingredients may suffer allergic symptoms such as urticaria or bronchospasm, as well as anaphylactic or anaphylactoid events are relatively rare (1/10,000). Large doses of calcium carbonate may result in alkalosis, hypercalcemia, acid rebound, milk-alkali syndrome, or constipation. These frequently develop as a result of really high doses of the medication.

Warning Precautions:

•    The sodium content of each 10ml (single sachet) dosage is 127.9mg (5.56mmol). This should be considered when a salt-restricted diet is suggested, such as in certain conditions of congestive heart failure and renal impairment.

•    Each dosage of 10ml (single sachet) includes 130mg (3.25mmol) of calcium.

•    Patients with hypercalcaemia, nephrocalcinosis, and recurring calcium-containing renal calculi must be taken into account.

•    Treatment of children under the age of 12 is typically not advised, except with medical advice.

•    If symptoms persist after seven days, the clinical picture should be reassessed.

•    This product contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) and propylparahydroxybenzoate (E216), both of which may induce allergic responses (possibly delayed).
